From Molly’s big-hearted curiosity to Gunner’s loyal enthusiasm, each scene captures the warmth, mischief, and wonder of childhood. I focused on playful details, cozy textures, and emotional storytelling to reflect the heart of this sweet story, a little girl’s attempt to cook a surprise dinner with the help of her trusty pup. This project was a delight to illustrate, blending humor, family connection, and a dash of chaos into every page.
All I Gained
Is a tender and empowering picture book that explores grief, healing, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and daughter. The author requested a whimsical, dreamy tone, and I was honored to adapt while staying true to my style—blending soft light, expressive emotion, vibrant color, and garden-inspired imagery.
This award-winning book was a deeply meaningful project to illustrate, using poetic visuals and heartfelt storytelling to help young readers process big feelings with comfort and hope.
